William D. Martin, DVM

kittyDr. Martin is the Medical Director and owner of Animal Medical Center of Miamisburg and the Animal Medical Center of Springboro. He is a graduate of The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine class of 2000. He is in the final processes to be certified as a specialist in canine and feline medicine and surgery through the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners.

Valerie L. White, DVM

kittyDr. White is a graduate of The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She joined the Animal Medical Center family in 2008. Dr. White enjoys providing care to pets throughout their life stages and has a special interest in behavioral medicine. In addition to seeing medical and surgical patients, she offers behavioral consultations for families experiencing issues with their dogs or cats. Dr. White resides in Miamisburg with her husband, daughter, and 2 dogs and 2 cats.

Debbie Posey, Practice Manager

kittyDebbie partnered with Dr. William, DVM to open the Animal Medical Center of Miamisburg in 2008. She has a Masters degree in Mental Health Counseling and a Bachelors degree in Nursing. Debbie has two grown sons and three granddogs, a poodle, a Boston terrier, and an English bulldog. For Debbie, having an active role in the growth and development of the veterinary service is a rewarding job. She says she absolutely loves what she does.

Bria, Receptionist

kittyBria has been with the Animal Medical Center of Miamisburg since 2008. She lives in Miamisburg and has a dog named Marvin. One of her favorite parts of her job is that she gets to learn something new everyday, but the best part is knowing that she is making a positive impact on her community and the lives of others.

Shawne S. Mazzei, DVM

kittyDr. Mazzei. joined the Animal Medical Center of Miamisburg team in 2009. Dr. Mazzei is a graduate of The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine, Class of 2002. Dr. Mazzei serves as the Animal Medical Center's leader in exotic medicine; in addition to dogs and cats, she loves treating rabbits, ferrets, reptiles, and pocket pets. She resides in Springboro, Ohio with her husband Mark and three children.

Heather I, Registered Veterinary Technician

kittyHeather became a member of the Animal Medical Center of Miamisburg team in 2009. She enjoys being able to save and help the animals of her community. She, along with her husband and children, have two dogs, a cat, and two birds. The thing that makes her love her job most, is seeing a happy pet and a happy owner.

Heather M, Receptionist

kittyHeather joined the Animal Medical Center of Miamisburg staff in 2009. When she's not working, Heather loves being Mom to her two children, Hannah and Wyatt, and playing with their three pets. She enjoys working the front desk because it gives her a chance to create a relationship with each client and pet.

Stephanie, Kennel Assistant

kittyStephanie's worked at the Animal Medical Center of Miamisburg since 2009. When she's not working she enjoys spending her time participating in animal assisted therapy or working towards her Registered Veterinary Technician license. Stephanie enjoys her job because she gets to have a hands-on experience with the pets she loves.

Lisa, Veterinary Assistant

kittyIn 2006, Lisa started her job at the Animal Medical Center of Miamisburg. She is currently working toward her Registered Veterinary Technician license. Lisa has three children and four pets. She enjoys interacting with all the clients and different pets and says that there is no other job she would rather have.

Richard, Kennel Manager

kittyRichard joined the Animal Medical Center of Miamisburg in 2004. At home he has four dogs of his own. For Richard, the only thing better than taking care of animals is lifting weights and fishing. He loves working with all different types of animals and knowing that he is a key part of a pet's care while staying in the kennels.

Jeanette Martin, Practice Administrator

kittyJeanette helped open the Animal Medical Center of Springboro with her husband, William D. Martin, DVM, in 2001 and the Animal Medical Center of Miamisburg in 2008. In college she pursued a business degree with the goal of opening a clinic. Jeanette is not only business oriented, she also has a passion for art and creativity, and has a degree in Photography. She lives with her two children and husband in Springboro, though she spends as much time as she can at the lake. Jeanette loves working at both clinics and managing the behind the scenes work. Her favorite part of her job is seeing her employees grow and develop in their careers while providing the best care possible.

Jewel, Registered Veterinary Technician

kittyJewel joined the Animal Medical Center of Miamisburg in 2010. She enjoys every aspect of working with animals, and has a special interest in surgery and special procedures. Jewel resides in Miamisburg.

Kristina A. VanAutreve, DVM

kittyVanAutreve graduated as a member of The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine's class of 2008. In 2009, she became an Associate Veterinarian at the Animal Medical Center of Springboro. Her passion is helping pets towards wellness through the utilization of the latest diagnostic and surgical procedures.

Connie, Receptionist/Trainer

kittyConnie has been with the Animal Medical Center of Springboro since 1995. Ten years ago, Connie began teaching puppy training classes at the Animal Medical Center. Along with dog training, Connie has a special love for Dalmatians. She enjoys showing her own two Dalmatians in obedience and agility. The best part of the job for Connie is seeing all the dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens with their owners.

Nikki, Receptionist

Nikki has been working at the Animal Medical Center of Springboro since September 2008. Nikki enjoys being outdoors, and being active. She likes golfing, running and cycling. She is also enrolled in classes to become a registered veterinary technician. Nikki loves her job at Animal Medical Center because she gets to interact with all of the clients and see them leave happy with their pets.

Debbie Posey, Practice Manager

kittyDebbie began her career in the veterinary field in 2008 when she interned at Animal Medical Center of Springboro in preparation for partnering with Dr. Martin to open of the Animal Medical Center of Miamisburg. Debbie manages the Human Resources aspect of the practice. She has two grown sons and three granddogs. She says the best part of her job is working with the compassionate and caring staff and doctors.

kittyJeanette helped open the Animal Medical Center of Springboro with her husband in 2001. In college she pursued a business degree with the goal of opening a clinic. She lives with her two children and husband in Springboro, though she spends as much time as she can at the lake. While her actual degree is in Photography, Jeanette loves working at both clinics and managing the behind the scenes work. Her favorite part of her job is seeing her employees grow and develop in their careers while providing the best care possible.

Carla, Receptionist

kittyCarla has been a member of the Animal Medical Center team since 2003. She lives in Dayton with her three children and seven pets. When she's not working, Carla enjoys watching her sons' baseball games and fishing. Carla's always had a love for animals and says that this is the perfect job for her. She loves getting to know each client and pet individually.

Kimberlynn Martin, Administrative Assistant

Kimberlynn has been working at the Animal Medical Center since she was nine. In the summers she would join her parents working as a kennel helper, fixing meals and playing with the animals. Today, Kimberlynn works as the online director and administrative assistant. Kimberlynn graduated from Springboro High School in 2010 and is now attending Centre College to major in French and English Education. Her favorite part of working at the clinics is being able to share in her parents' dream.

Kayla, Kennel Assistant

Kayla started working at the Animal Medical Center in 2007. She is a graduate of Carroll High School's class of 2010. In the fall Kayla will be attending Wright State University with an interest in photography. Kayla loves taking care of the animals and plans on working here through college.

Kelly, Receptionist

kittyIn 2005, Kelly started working at the Animal Medical Center as a Kennel Assistant. She graduated from Springboro High School in 2007 and is currently a student at University of Toledo earning her major in Physical Therapy. During breaks from school, Kelly works as a receptionist at the Springboro clinic. Kelly's favorite part of the job is seeing all the new puppies and kittens.

Alex, Kennel Assistant

Alex started working at the Animal Medical Center of Springboro in 2010. He's currently a senior at Springboro High School. One of his biggest interests is music and he spends his free time as the drummer of a local band. Alex plans on being a doctor and enjoys this job because it gives him hands on experience in the medical field.

Paula, Registered Veterinary Technician

kittyPaula has been working at the Animal Medical Center of Springboro for two years. She is a graduate of Raymond Walters. At home, Paula loves spending time with her two daughters, husband, and four pets. In her free time she likes being outdoors running or riding her motorcycle. Paula's currently working towards her Veterinary Technician Specialty Certification in Dentistry.

Jessica, Kennel Assistant

Jessica started working at Animal Medical Center of Springboro in 2009. She is currently a student at Monroe High School. Jessica has two dogs and two cats. Jessica plans to study veterinary science next year through her high school.

Brenda, Kennel Manager

kittyBrenda has been working at the Animal Medical Center of Springboro since 2002. When she isn't working at the clinic, Brenda spends time working at a stable caring for the horses. Brenda's favorite part of her job is getting to work with the animals she loves every day.

Lora, Receptionist

kittyLora has been working at the Animal Medical Center of Springboro for three years. She and her husband have two adult children and have adopted three younger children. Outside of work, Lora serves as a Girl Scout Leader and loves camping. Her favorite part of her job is meeting the new clients and animals as they join the AMC family.

Christina, Student Veterinary Technician

Christina started working as a kennel assistant at AMC Springboro in 2006. She is currently a student at Raymond Walters College and will be graduating this year. She looks forward to becoming a registered veterinary technician for the Animal Medical Center. At home she has six pets, and she enjoys spending her free time reading and playing video games. The best part of this job for Christina is learning.

Missy, Registered Veterinary Technician

kittyMissy has been a part of the Animal Medical Center team for nine years. She is a graduate of Columbus State. She has two pets named Angel and Iko. Missy spends her free time playing sports and riding her motorcycle. Missy loves her job because she gets to see how medicine is ever changing and how that improves the longevity and quality of life for people's pets.

Sara, Veterinary Technician

kittySara has been working at the Animal Medical Center for ten years. Her family includes her husband, daughter, two dogs, and two cats. She enjoys beekeeping with her family. Her favorite part of her job is learning and developing her technician skills and creating relationships with all of the different pets.

Rebecca, Receptionist

Rebecca started working as a kennel assistant when she was fifteen. She then worked as a receptionist while she was going through schooling for radiology. She now works full time as a radiology technologist at the hospital but she works as a receptionist for the clinic in her spare time. She enjoys her job at AMC because she gets to come back to where she started and see all the pets and people she loves.
